Doors and windows FibaDoors and windows Fiba are laser-cut of coloured cardboard (mostly). The design corresponds to the doors and windows used on typical railway buildings in middle European area. Very thin window crossbars - it is the main advantage of Fiba windows. So small dimension of crossbars is hardly feasible for styrene windows in plastic building kits. Natural appearance is another advantage of cardboard windows. Doors and windows are produced in different colours, but the shade is not guaranteed (sure, inside one pack are always windows of the same colour) and painting is required. Some doors are produced in two parts (to be glued together) - in this case the upper part has usually other colour than underlying one. Doors and windows are sold without glazing. Use for instance transparent Evergreen styrene sheets for glazing. Doors and windows Fiba are produced in TT scale only, H0 scale is under preparation now. Pricing is here. doors and windows roundup: Doors and windows are shown in 2/3 of actual size (left pictures - products are shown in unassembled condition) and in cca 5/3 of actual size (right - detail pictures with mm scale).
